Supporting our olive community
More than 4000 olive farmers in the Mirambello region bring us their olive harvest every year. We provide free guidance to encourage best agricultural practices, and we make our natural compost available to them, eliminating or minimizing the need for chemical fertilizers. We also provide a financial incentive for improved or high quality olive oil.
We operate on the fair trade basis of a co-operative, treating each of our registered olive farmers as a partner. They get their oil pressed for free and they keep ninety percent of their olive oil to sell as they wish. By establishing relationships based on mutual trust, we secure the quality and quantity of the superior extra virgin olive oil we need for our range of brands.
