OLIO NUΟVO DAYS 2023

Vassilakis Estate extra virgin olive oil from Vasilakis Estate, in Mirabello Lasithi, Crete, participated for the first time in the Olio Nuovo Days World Olive Oil Competition in France and won the Gold Award.

In the competition, which was organized for the 7th year and ended on March 24, 2023, 120 olive oils from 13 countries of the world were tested. The panel of judges was surrounded by notable chefs and experts in the field led by Francois Perret, pastry chef of the best restaurant in the world, at the Ritz Paris Hotel.

The company has made a strong start to this year's competition cycle and the Vassilakis family is particularly happy that the family's extra virgin olive oil is turning gold once again.
